We are an Irish-Medium Nursery and Primary School in Limavady, Co. Derry. In February 2024, we moved to a new site on the Roe Mill Road and our school environment is flourishing here with extra playground space, a pitch, multi-purpose hall, new classrooms and a brand new statutory nursery unit.
We are a small school and our children have a strong sense of community. Our aim is to ensure that every child feels happy, safe and nurtured whilst at school. We do this in partnership with parents.
I began teaching in Naíscoil léim an Mhadaidh in 2008, when it opened, then moved to Rang 1 in Gaelscoil Léim an Mhadaidh, where I taught for 10 years. During this time, I was Head Teacher and later Principal. In 2019 I took a break from school leadership and spent a few years back in the classroom teaching Primary 6 & Primary 7 full-time. In Aug 2024, I was re-appointed as Principal of Naíscoil & Gaelscoil Léim an Mhadaidh and I am excited to lead the school into the next stage of its development.
